Inox was approached to design a takeaway offer to compliment an already successful restaurant and tearoom in Leighton Buzzard. Coming out of a year of pandemic induced lockdowns, the budget was paramount and time was definitely of the essence.

The solution

The design needed to make allowances for the potential direction the new offer may take in the coming years.

With the help of CED, we designed in features such as removable cupboard sections that would allow an ice-cream freezer to sit in the back counter if the hotter weather suggested a customer demand. The freezer needed to look as though it had always been there and amendments to the counter had to be easy to complete without further install work. Piccolo opened after the government restrictions ended and is thriving. If you’re in the Leighton Buzzard area, We would personally recommend the lemon drizzle cake!
