The Brief

The University of Northampton was, at the time, the largest ongoing construction project in the UK. It had 3 new student centres, a biomass energy centre and on-site student accommodation being built on derelict waterside land. Inox Equip were delighted to support its development, turning it into a leading Campus within the UK.

The solution

The consultant-designed specification was adapted by Inox to offer the Client savings and efficiency savings where possible.

We worked closely with the Client’s catering consultants to ensure we delivered a layout that allowed them to meet their goals. There were a total of 6 catering areas on site; 3 bars and 3 restaurant spaces.

The Results

The two largest restaurant spaces needed to cater for hundreds of students at a time. Inox’s project teams worked closely with our long-term trusted supply chain to ensure that the large scale installation went smoothly and completed on-time.

The total project value was £1.8m, making it the largest Inox Equip has completed to date.
